Such biscuits adversely affect the health of brain, gut and hormones for their poor choice of low quality, cheap ingredients viz. refined flour, refined sugar, trans fats, preservatives, additives, artificial colours, artificial flavours, milk solids, enhancers, stabilisers, etc. etc. etc.

Back in 2013 when we started making for you – FIG FLAPS. It is by far one of the MOST LOVED snack by our little patrons in the category : TNB Bars and Cookies.
These are oven baked. #TheCrust is not too hard yet you will get the crust feel between your teeth. It is #glutenfree made using rice and sorghum (jowar) flour. It is minimally sweetened using coconut sugar (a nutritious , plant based sweetener with low Glycemic Index). The filling consists of cranberries and figs. THAT’s ALL. That’s all because we didn’t feel the need of anything else other that these #BrilliantIngredients.
It is a nice, filling treat that is nutritious and outstandingly delicious (tastes tangy-sweet), if we may say so. Do try and let us know.
